“Loving Heavenly Father, we come to You this hour, acknowledging the power and grace found in prayer. We thank You for bringing us together, and we ask that Your presence would fill this space. Guide our hearts, grant us wisdom for the needs we will lift up, and use this time to deepen our connection with You and with one another. In Your name we pray, Amen”. 

 

3. Inspirational Sharing (Optional)

“Before we dive into our prayer requests, does anyone have a brief testimony or an answered prayer to share that could encourage us?” 

 

4. Prayer Instructions & Focus

“As we enter into our prayer time, we will follow a simple pattern of four sections:

• Praise: We’ll start by praising God for who He is. 
  
   
• Confession: Then, we’ll have a moment for confessing any shortcomings. 
  
   
• Supplication: Next, we’ll focus our prayers on the specific needs that the Lord has placed on our hearts, such as our loved ones, our community, and the hurting world. 
  
   
• Thanksgiving: We will conclude with a time of thankfulness for what God has done.” 
  
   

5. Guidelines for Prayer

“Please keep your prayers concise, around one to two sentences, to allow everyone to share. We encourage silence when needed, and we’ll focus on one topic at a time.”

After the prayer time, conclude with a brief prayer of thanksgiving: “Father, thank You for this time of unity and prayer. Thank You for hearing our voices. May Your will be done. In Jesus’ name, Amen”.
